This week I finished off our first track. Once Mathew sent his guitar part, I tidied it up a bit using quantisation. After this, I EQed the riff and solo to separate them in the frequency spectrum, making them sound less muddy. After doing some final mixing, I sent the track to Xabi so that he could lay down his vocals on top of it.
